Raizal is not just a name. It’s a real place, filled with memories and so much meaning to our family. 


It was the first destination our grandfather Antonio reached when he emigrated from Spain to Venezuela. There, in a humble house near the sea, he built his family. In that small corner of the country surrounded by Portuguese, Basque, Aragonese, and of course, Venezuelan immigrants a diverse, warm, and close community was born.

For years, El Raizal was a refuge for many families. A place where generations grew up, where love aged, where friendships were formed, and new beginnings were written. The children who once played in the sand ended up writing their own stories: from those innocent games came love, and from those loves, new families.

Returning was a tradition. It was a space where time slowed down, and joy was shared. For us, it was our escape a place where we were truly happy, far from the chaos of the city. A place where we could grow, breathe, and express ourselves freely. 

In 2020, Carlota opened a restaurant and she decided to called it, Raizal "Arepería & Ronería", in Madrid. This place was born from the dream of sharing the best of Venezuelan cuisine. It was a project full of soul, created with one intention: to speak beautifully about Venezuela through food.

 

Today, Raizal specializes in its best-seller: THE ULTIMATE TEQUEÑO.

In 2019, Erika founded Health Yeah in Caracas, with the purpose of offering a HEALTHY PROTEIN CHOCOLATE BROWNIE. The idea was inspired by our father’s diagnosis with type II diabetes, and a desire to create desserts that could also be enjoyed by people with gluten, dairy, or other dietary restrictions. That’s how this inclusive baking concept was born: tasty, thoughtful, and made for everyone.

Now we decided to join forces and passions. This is our way of caring for each other, of sharing our love for cooking, of continuing to dream together and staying close as a family.

Health Yeah Food was born from that shared passion, offering healthy brownies made with ingredients that are free from sugar, lactose and gluten. 

Now, Health Yeah joins the Raizal family a space that is tradition, wellness, and everything we love about food.
